In Every Season of Life

Hi, I'm Robin, and thanks for checking in to Growing New!  It's a place where we explore and promote formal and informal learning to help us adapt and live well in our communities.  Lifetime learners understand that each experience can become a path to learning, skill-building and wisdom, if we nurture that mindset.

You’ll notice a focus on some arenas of passion for me in this season:  living in and around the garden, wellness, hospitality, anything creative!   There is always more to explore and enjoy and learn and share in those spaces! And because I am a Christian, the nurturing of my relationship with God is an enriching and fulfilling daily spiritual practice.  This is the framework and wellspring for my writing, and for my life!

So, the idea of learning as a way of life is filtered through a lens of discipleship and mentoring at the feet Jesus, my ultimate Teacher.  And the blog and social media content for Growing New supports that aim, and is designed to be encouraging, inspirational, and practical.

My hope is that you'll be encouraged to search and find inspiration for:
